#Program description

The Validation Programs provide short-term, no-charge access to IBM z/OS, Linux on Z, and Red Hat OpenShift environments for the purposes of porting and testing applications for the IBM Z and IBM LinuxONE platform.

Systems provided by the Validation Program are managed from the ZLPN Dashboard and are provided "as is" with limited options for customization. At the end of the no-charge access period, users have the option to roll over the Validation system to the fee-based Remote Development Program (ZRDP) for continued use, which unlocks additional options for customization and configuration.
